Deepzoom vs Dynamic collections

There are two distinct types of collections in Zegami: the first is composed of images, with associated metadata, these are called Deepzoom collections. They allow you to view the images in a pyramid of resolutions, all the way up to the original. We can support up to 50 Mp per image and collections with up to 100k images!

The second type of Zegami collections are Dynamic collections - these are composed of column-like data associated with a dynamic, data-bound tile that we call Zegs!

Zegs can be as simple as a square with a coloured background, where that colour represents a column from the dataset or something more complex, containing text, gradients, images and charts. Documentation on how to create a Zeg can be found here.

You can find in-depth instructions for creating either Deepzoom or Dynamic collections here.
